Orchard Supply Hardware, a chain of 85 home improvement and garden stores in
California, introduced a new logo to identify Earth-friendly products. The logo, which will be used both in-store and in advertising, accompanies products that are energy efficient, biodegradable, recyclable, organic and less toxic.
“We know many of our customers want ‘green’ products for their homes and gardens,” said Rob Lynch, president and CEO. “As part of our commitment to offering excellent service to our customers, we want to help them identify their options by bringing attention to these products.”
The Earth-friendly logo will be used on shelf signage throughout stores, including garden and nursery departments.
